Through the Assorted Merchandise series, Alterfact takes formal clues from mass manufactured objects, but with a nonsensical surreal approach. Brushes and spouts are combined with 3D printed pieces, acting like adaptable joining parts. Instead of plastic acting as a sealing or connecting material, the role is swapped to make the 3D printed ceramics take this role. The result are strange, seemingly utilitarian objects for unknown or alien purposes.
